New Project Manager for Eyvör – Iceland’s National Cybersecurity Competence Centre
The Electronic Communications Office of Iceland (ECOI) has appointed Hrannar Ásgrímsson as Project Manager for Eyvör – Iceland’s National Cybersecurity Competence Centre.
The Electronic Communications Office of Iceland (ECOI) has appointed Hrannar Ásgrímsson as Project Manager for Eyvör – Iceland’s National Cybersecurity Competence Centre. Eyvör operates within ECOI’s Digital Security Division and is responsible for strengthening knowledge and competence in the field of cybersecurity nationwide.
Hrannar brings over 15 years of experience in project management from both domestic and international companies, including Controlant, 1xINTERNET, Creditinfo, and LS Retail. He holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Reykjavík University and has led numerous complex projects in the fields of information technology, finance, and telecommunications.
Eyvör is part of a European collaboration under the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), which aims to enhance cybersecurity capabilities across the EU by fostering cooperation, supporting research and development projects, and promoting overall knowledge and skills development in member states. Eyvör’s partners include Reykjavík University, the University of Iceland, Rannís, and Auðna Tæknitorg.
